Day 163 - Nessy

On reviewing our pictures of Loch Ness, we were most surprised to see that we had captured what appears to be a glimpse of  Nessie!  As typical in these pictures (not sure why), she is out of focus, but clearly there in the bottom right hand corner. In the image below, we zoomed up on that part of the picture so you can see better.  We are confident this qualifies as unequivocal proof, and will be posting on YouTube shortly….

To be sure, we spent thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours digitally enhancing the picture and are pleased now to post the world’s first clear view of this mysterious and infamous creature from the depths of Loch Ness

Strangely, there is a strong resemblance to Randall from Monsters U....

Day 162 - Around Aberdeen

We picked up a car, and headed towards Aberdeen.  It is hard to explain but as we drove through the countryside a certain sense of history and expectation grew in our minds.  The land whispered back quietly with beauty, strength and peace.

 

Day 161 - Edinburgh

We flew into Edinburgh and soon found ourselves feeling completely welcomed by the fresh air, the interesting light of the low Scottish sky and the unusually green landscape.

This combined with the many fine beverages to sample, the sound of music in the air, and the deep strength of Scotland that you can’t help but feel, and feel energized by, was the perfect start to our planned highland adventures
