From Loch Ness, we drove west into the mountains. At one junction along the way, we decided to take the older one lane road that wound its way through the countryside and led to one of the historic ferry crossings to the Isle of Skye. It was a beautiful drive.

wonderful that you made it to the Motherland!! Andys mum grew up on Skye, her Dad was the local bank manager, amd in those days all they had was the historic ferry crossing!!!!
