We had an extra day between
cities and stayed at the Jinya Roykan near Tokyo (all trains go through
Tokyo). It is an old and beautiful
Ryokan and we discovered that Hayao Miyazaki stayed there as a child (some of
his original artwork was displayed).
Walking through the gardens, you could easily see what he later brought
to life in his films.
