Day 9 & 10 - Mount Fuji

And of course, there was Mount Fuji.

 

 

Vue of the peak above the trees from the 5th station, 2300 meters above sea level. It was cold, windy, and between layers of clouds.

In pictures, Mount Fuji is serene, elegant and balanced. In person, it is formidable, fills the sky and calls out to be climbed.
