Day 63 - Fog in Sydney or the Butterfly Effect

It all started in a fog... in Sydney on the day we were trying to fly from Melbourne to FitzroyIsland, in N. East Australia. Our Melbourne-Sydney-Cairns plane was rescheduled... and then rescheduled again. By the time we arrived in Cairns, we just missed the last ferry to Fitzroy. Ahhhhhh.
So while sitting on the plane on the way into the gate, we searched out another place to stay, rented a car, and headed North along the highway to Thala Bay Resort, just South of Port Douglass...

As far as problems go, this one was not so bad.... you agree?

Cool sand sculptures made by some local little animal (Not sure who).

For you persistent readers...

We took a long walk around the point of the Peninsula at sunset and low tide (impossible at high tide), the scenery was beautiful, many of the pictures above were from the walk.  The scenery was also....  well...  interesting....  Was it just me  (Khro)??
